Restaurant #4
Las Cabras, Fitz Roy 1795
One of the MUST DO in Buenos Aires !
Here, you will eat meat, meat and some more meat. Guess what ? Would you believe me if I told you I was vegetarian before coming to Argentina ? Haha, well I was ! My reasons : in Canada the quality is really bad and I am not even talking about the treatment done to the animals. Of course that part isn't perfect in Argentina neither, but at least the cows are outside ! Not eating meat here is impossible anyway; there is no actual substitut and if you find some they are unaffordables.

Gran Bife Las Cabras
You want a table ? No reservations are taken here. So be on time! Knowing that everybody has dinner around 9pm, I recommend you to come a bit earlier. Even if you come at 8:30pm you will probably be put on the waiting list. But you can then sit down outside and order a bottle of Mendozian wine. Excellent ! Perfect if you are at least 3 people, so you can share, you'll understand why !
Once you get in... The menu is big. And everything looks yummy. You won't know what to order but by the smell and the look of the plates that surround you in the restaurant you will understand why it is the most famous Parilla ! If you are 4, two plates and one additional side dish is enough ! You must take El Gran Bife Las Cabras (12-15$US). Probably the most popular plate, and I do know why ! It task absolutly amazing. All the other big plates are very tasty but you can also add to the Gran Bife two individual plates for exemple.

pastel de calabaza y choclo a la miel
Usually the service is good, but because of the size of the restaurant don't be too impatient. Plus, as soon as you'll have your plate you won't be able to think about anything else.
I seriously don't think you will be desappointed by anything you order. Enjoy a meal, with wine and beer included (we were 5) count around 300$ pesos which is less than 20$US.
