A perfect universe for those who like to combine drinking with playing. Pool tables, table football, basketball and even archery will be provided in exchange of a few pesos. Beer will be your friendly drink here. Definitly a good bar for those who just arrived in Buenos Aires and feel a little lonetly. Trust me, you won't spend more than 10 minutes alone in here. Tips: check the facebook pages of BAIS (Buenos Aires International Student) and PALS, they are the 2 biggest organism for exchange students and they go to Job's on Thurdays. A good way to meet your future flatmates !

Isabel bar, Uriarte 1664 en Palermo (10-20$US)
Behind a cold metallic door don't be fooled by the first impressions... it is in a cosy and classy atmosphere that you will enjoy a delicious coktail or more. Their selection of amuse bouche is diversed; from sushi to small burgers, fried calamari or different plates of cheese. The indoor room surrounded by mirrors make the place very intimate, but you have to make your way to the outdoor room to enjoy a second cocktail by the fire. Do go to the bathroom and try not to get lost, it is an adventure. Mirror, Mirror.

N°6
Gran Danzon bar, Libertad 1161 en Recoleta (10-20$US)
Sitting down in the big puffy couch facing the rest of the bar, you can enjoy the spectacle of nightlife. Chandeliers and candles will surround you. The salmon toast is very agreable to share and the size of the cocktails are more than satisfaying.

N°5
Poney Line, Posadas 1086 en Recoleta (10-20$)
If you live in Recoleta it is a perfect place to start your night with an elegant drink. You can accompany your drink with a little hamburger that are supposed to be part of the best in Buenos Aires. Very tasty. Located in the Four Season Hotel, I recommend you to take a tour in the lobby before you go.
N°4
Franck's bar, Uriarte 1664 en Palermo (10$-20$)
Franck, Isabel and Vicroria are brother&sis, in fact they are in the same style and they all have something hidden, something special. Franck's particularity is his entry. First of all I hope you are good at enigmas, because you are going to need to use your brain (just a little). On the day of your special night, go on their facebook page and find the text and picture that will lead you to the secret password you have to give at the door. Then, go into the phone booth and follow the instructions. Only then you will enjoy the cosy style of the bar:

N°3
El Presidente, Av del Presidente Quintana y Rodriguez Peña en Recoleta (10$US)
New bar in Recoleta only open since march, which explains why you can't find it on Google Maps. It is however worth looking for it on that beautiful central street. The bar made it to the list of the hidden bars for a reason... at the end of the long dark corridor don't let you be fooled by the dead end... Find the door handle somewhere hidden in the book shelves. You have entered the Laboratory of el Presidente. Now enjoy.

N°2
JW Bradley, Godoy Cruz 1875, en Palermo (8-15$US)
Are you ready to travel thrue time ? Enter the locomotive and enjoy the short "ride". Once you get of the train let yourself be overwhelmed by the atmosphere similar to a movie set; paving stones on the ground, enormous train stations' clocks and wooden furnitures. On of my favorite bar. The bartenders are always smiling, the music after 23h is great if you like chill step style. A mix between the great classics and new songs remixed. Well done. One of many other cool stuff about that place is that they always have guest bartenders from other great bars, a good way to discover the best cocktails in town.
Always a fun night, particularly with Marie, Matheus, Dina and the best bartender of all, Augustin !

Nicky Harrison, Malabia 1764 en Palermo
Sushi restaurant ? Are you sure ?
You are going to eat sushi, yes, but not only... The concept is easy: you have a nice dinner and then, sublty you ask one of the waiters if they may show you the wine cellar, this simple sentence will bring you to another world. They will escort you to the end of the restaurant where you will face a wall of wine bottles. From there you will start a walk thrue Time and History. I don't want to ruin the surprise by telling you more about this amazing tour. But once you arrive at destination, you won't believe your eyes. You will have your own part in Gatsby's life. The outdoor part allows you to have a cigarette in one the cabines of which it is possible to close the curtain for more intimacy. I recommend to go on a Tuesday to enjoy a live Jazz concert. DO make a reservation at the restaurant.
