Restaurant #1
Day 1, The First Night in Buenos Aires .
I landed only a couple hours ago... The city is calling me ! Can't wait to put my suitcases away and walk around the exciting Buenos Aires... And EAT ! It is what this page is about, isn't it ?
No more talking, it is time to start our culinary tour in South America; are you ready ?
First Stop: Burger Joint, Jorge Luis Borges 1776 PALERMO
Simple, authentic, amazingly tasty.
A must for any burger lover. Despite its chaotic air, Burger joint will charm just by the smell of it. Find the outdoor room and sit down by the fountain. I can finally sit down and realize that yes, I have arrived and yes, we are gonna have the time of our lifes here in Buenos Aires.
Count 9$US for their menu : Beer (50cl), homemade fries, burger (out of 6 choices)
#1 La Clasica: queso, lechuga, cebollas, tomate, mayonesa
#2 La Mexican: Jalapeños, guacamole, hot sauce, cebollas, tomate, queso
#3 La Bleu: Bleu cheese, tomate seco, cebollas caramelizadas, portobello #4 La Jamaican: Panceta, tomate, ajo, pimiento, honey mustard, pickles #5 La Cabra: queso de cabra, pimienta, chevrotin, rucula (my favorite by far, super tasty and quite unexpected)
#6 La Especial: according to the Chef's mood
I meet my future partner in crime, alias my roomate, Ana. A friendly and very endearing portugueese girl. Love her already.

23:30, It's time to get back to my Hostel, Eco Pampa Guatemala 4778, PALERMO .
A must not. No electricity, no hot water, nada. So no shower after 25 hours of travel. Ouch. Big Ouch. Good night !
