5 Best Cafes in Recoleta

#Coffee time

I simply enjoyed living in Recoleta and here is a sample of my favorite places in my neighbourhood, worth to go just to try them out !

Café #1 : Josephina Café, Guido 1532

On a little square, surrounded by trees, it almost feel like you're having your morning coffee in one of the big european capitale. Brunches, lunches, snacks or just a coffee; you will enjoy it !

Café #2 : Bartola, Junin 1761

In front of the Cemetery, this place is bathed by the sun all afternoon long. Really great to enjoy a coffee on the terrace, or a snack. I used to study here on weekends.

Café #3 : Tea Connection, Montevideo 1655

You will find this chaine in every neighbourhood. This one was really close from my apartment and if you like tea, you'll be fully satisfied. Over 100 teas on the menu ! Coming from all different places and continents! I usually went there not only for tea but for Lattes ! They are incredibly tasty ! It is rare to find Lattes in Buenos Aires ! The brunches are aaaaaamaziiiiing

Café #4 : Volta, Av. Pueyrredon 2501

This one is actually an ice cream place which also sells little cakes and coffee. Very agreable and very tasty. I was lucky and always served perfecly ! My coffee was usually accompanied by pieces of lemon cake, yummy !

Café #5 : La Biela, Av Presidente Quintana 596

Recommended on some guides and sites, it is quite pleasant indeed. The atmosphere is very traditional. The average age is probably 70 year-old but the service is good and the food tasty. Careful however, the prices are quite expensive.
